Step by step instructions to get updates on our bills from the Texas Legislature Online

If viewing on a mobile phone, turn phone horizontal to be able to see the illustrations better.

1. Go to https://capitol.texas.gov/Home.aspx and click the Login button in the upper right corner

2. Click New User

3. Add your email, select a security question and answer, and pick a password for your account, select the submit button

4. This page will load

5. Follow directions in your email to activate your account. The link will take you here:

6. Login to your account using the credentials you entered in step 3

7. Select submit and you will be taken to this page:

8. Select My TLO, Alerts, Bills

9. Add the bills to your alerts list
